What is pulsating magnetic therapy? (PEMFT or PEMF)

Treatment with magnets is an age old practice.
Using magnets for treatment and healing has been traced as far back as 6000 years.
Both animals and humans generate a magnetic field. These are caused by the chemical reactions in our cells, constantly firing of small electromagnetic reactions.
It is commonly known that without the earth's magnetic field all life on earth would cease to exist. Not only does the magnetic field protect us from outer world radiation, we are also perfectly tuned to living in it.

It is beyond doubt that our bodies react to electromagnetism and so be exposing our bodies to certain electromagnetic frequencies we can influence the life cycle of cells.

When space exploration began astronauts coming back to earth suffered several illnesses and deficiencies.
Both the Americans and the Russians spent a lot of resources researching why astronauts become "sick". Much has happened in the field since then and we now know that astronauts suffer muscle atrophy due to lack of gravity. Lack of gravity also causes other symptoms like blurry vision, headaches and digestion problems. But NASA researched further and discovered that these symptoms were not fixed simply by adding resistance training to simulate gravity. It seems our cells get "confused" due to the lack of earth's magnetic field and so NASA patented their own PMFT system.

How does pulsed electromagnetic therapy work?

Pulsed magnetic therapy (PMFT) work by generating a magnetic field of specific frequencies which penetrate the organism and reactivates damaged and dormant cells.
Blood cells starts to accelerate and frees themselves from clumping together, blood starts flowing faster and the blood vessels starts to expand further improving blood flow. Increased blood flow has several positives: increased transportation of "waste products" like cholesterol lactic acid and urea. At the same time increased blood flow also increases the transportation of nutrients like amino acids, fatty acids and oxygen.
Cells that are damaged or dormant spring back to life when influenced by the pulsed magnetic frequencies.

The treatment thereby helps the body heal itself by re-energizing the cells.

Pulsed magnetic therapy have proven success rates on the following illnesses:

  • Fractures
  • Infections and inflammation
  • Rheumatic diseases
  • Migraine
  • Insomnia and other problems sleeping
  • Poor blood circulation
  • Stress
  • Muscle pain, Muscle tension
  • Headaches
  • Chest pains
  • Dizziness, lightheadedness
  • Indigestion
  • Chronic fatigue
"PMFT also seems to calm down the autonomous nervous system and helps internal organs retain their functions so that the organism stabilizes.
Users of magnetic therapy have also experienced increased immune functions and faster recovery from sickness."

Magnetic therapy and sports

"A lot of sports related injuries are caused by increased lactic acids.
Increased lactic acid levels influences the bodies natural PH value and causes pain.
Pulsed magnetic therapy increases blood flow and as such decreases the amount of "waste products", while at the same time oxygen and nutrient delivery by the blood is increased.
One gets the benefit of increased restitution and faster recovery from illness by using pulsed magnetic therapy."
